I purchased this car mirror a week after my baby was born and I realized that leaning over into the backseat to see if she is breathing while I drive is not the best idea. I have been using this mirror for about three months now and it has given this anxious parent peace of mind.I had a bit of trouble snapping the mount into place on the back of the mirror, but that could just be my poor fine motor skills. My husband got it together without issue. It was easy to strap to the backseat headrest and has stayed steady in place. The mirror is large and provides a clear reflection of baby with no distortion. I have not tried any other car mirrors so I cannot compare this with any others but this seems like a good buy.

I stumbled upon this mirror and it does the job, and then some. Easy to install and secure. The mirror allows me to easily see my son while driving, and while previous mirrors have been insecure/flimsy, this one has remained solidly in place. Super easy to install in my car and the range of motion is great so that I can easily see the baby. The mirror is large enough that I can see completely inside the rear facing carseat and it was visible from my rear view mirror. I tried putting it on one way and it wasn’t staying in place very well and the mirror kept sliding off the swivel. When you get it on correctly, it works great — I like the size of the mirror because you get great visibility and it’s also super clear. Haven’t had any issues with it yet. Wife likes it and baby likes seeing us (she was pretty fascinated by this the first time actually :D)

When putting together this mirror, I found it was very self explanatory. I didn’t need the directions even though it came with clear instructions. It’s literally two pieces to click in and then two buckles to keep the product in place in the vehicle.The mirror is large enough for me to see baby while driving. The pivoting mirror was easy to move but did provide a little resistance which you want or else it will flop around. It stays in place using the two buckles that wrap around the headrest. They can easily be adjusted for a tighter or looser fit depending on the size of headrest. We have a Honda Odyssey so I had to tighten it more.The mirror is thin but sturdy. It had a protective film on it to prevent scratching during delivery. I’m so glad we purchased this mirror. It will help me keep an eye on our newborn while driving.

I bought this mirror a year ago right before my son was born. For the past year it has been the best! I can see him perfectly while I’m driving. The position doesn’t move around. Doesn’t bounce as I’m driving. It’s very secure. The straps hold it tight to the seat and you can tilt the mirror to a position that works best for you. The only time it slightly shifts is just the tilt if someone bumps into it and then it’s very easy to tilt back into place. But even then the straps keep it exactly where I had it. It took about a minute to set up. I loved it so much that when we got a second car a year later I immediately ordered another one of the exact same mirror. Works perfectly in my small car as well as the bigger SUV. Very happy with it. 🙂

We bought a baby mirror from a big box store for our first child. We didn’t really consider much regarding the mirror–I mean a mirror is a mirror, right? They all reflect, right?I mentioned later, that we may want to upgrade, but my wife said the one we had was fine. Well, it finally broke. I was told to replace it. Finally, I was able to order this mirror.It is a world of difference, as it has a better harness and hook up system than the one I bought, previously. It stays put. It’s mirror is much better regarding clarity, size and angles. Not only can we see our son all the more, he can see things up ahead (as he’s still rear-facing) of us and comment on them, like tractors. He loves those things and is more vocal about things he can see now.I’m very happy to have made this purchase and should have all the sooner.I highly recommend it!

Definitely recommend!The only negative is the screen protector that needs to be removed. I had to remove the mirror from the frame to get the two plastic danglers that couldn’t be pulled off. Minor inconvenience.

Fear not mama, you’ll never have to break your neck or strain your eyes trying to check on those sweet babies again.I have purchased similar mirrors from the typical stores in the past (target and walmart) we upgraded to a new van after the birth of our most recent addition and I decided to treat myself to a new mirror since the old (small) one was always really hard to see in. OH MY GOODNESS, THIS MIRROR IS AMAZING! I can ACTUALLY see my kids in the mirror, no distortion or just a small bit of their face. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this mirror sooner.Motherhood is stressful enough mamas, give yourself piece of mind and buy this mirror!!

I can see why this mirror has all these positive reviews. We had first went with a mirror from target but it was not sturdy and kept slipping down. This one isn’t as cute and it doesn’t have flashy lights or music for baby but it does the job well! It was very easy to install and I was so surprised with how sturdy it was using the two straps. I also love that the mirror can easily swivel to get the best view of my baby as she grows taller and transition to a convertible seat in the future. I am very happy with this mirror and recommend it to all parents!

The DARVIQS brand had straps that frayed apart in only a month. This one has been the best of the three. I do wish it were easier to fasten the strap that goes across the headrest longways. This is probably just the shape of my headrests though and not a fault of the product as I had this issue with the other mirrors as well. This mirrors seems a bit more expensive, especially considering I needed to purchase four of them (two kids with two cars), but I could have saved myself some money had I just purchased this brand from the beginning.

This is an absolute necessity. My son loves having the capability of looking at me while I’m driving and I love the fact that I’m able to look at him while he is sitting in the backseat pointing in the opposite direction. It’s a full-size mirror and has an excellent curve to the mirror allowing me to see him even closer. It’s plastic material makes it safer. I highly actually recommend this product it is very easy install in one minute.

So I bought this on amazon. While I waited for it to arrive I was at Walmart one day and saw a cheaper brand. I bought the one at Walmart. We have 2 cars so I figure one in each car. I did plan on returning this one I purchased on Amazon BUT after installing the one from walmart and realizing how hard it was to install nand not being able to see my newborn full frame…..we then proceeded to install the one from amazon.SO EASY!!!!! AND WE COULD SEE our newborn baby girl FULL BODY!!!!!! My husband was like “Yea, this one from Amazon is better.” Remember parents, cheaper isn’t always good. We will be purchasing another one from Amazon cause we don’t like the one from Walmart.

My 3 year old has made a game out of kicking it in the car seat at times but I try not to let her get too out of hand just in case. I ordered this mirror because the one that I bought from Buy Buy Baby only lasted us 15 months before a strap broke. The closest buybuy BABY to us is over 25 minutes away so, I came on to Amazon and found this mirror instead. It had great reviews and I love that the mirror is shatterproof.There is some assembly required but it is not hard. They literally have two pieces that you need to slide into place. Very simple and very easy.The mirror is also easy to install on the car. I did have to take my headrest out of the seat because for some reason when I tightened it, the buckle when under the headrest. But that’s not a big deal for me.The range of view with this mirror is great. My toddler is crystal clear in it also. We got this mirror and another brand, and we ended up returning the other brand for another if these mirrors. It’s easy to change the mirror angle and this product can be used on vehicles no matter if they have a headrest or not. I love that this mirror is large so that I can view more of the back seat. We got this mirror and another brand, and we ended up returning the other brand for another if these mirrors. It’s easy to change the mirror angle and this product can be used on vehicles no matter if they have a headrest or not. I love that this mirror is large so that I can view more of the back seat. This thing is fairly easy to install. But if you think you aren’t going to have to take the car seat and base out before doing it, you’re wrong. Probably possible with 2 people, but installing it on my own was frustrating and back-breaking. Just ended up taking the seat base & seat out so I could crawl into the car and install it. The plastic clip that the mirror sits on is just too flimsy, I was afraid I would break it if I just forced it on.After installation it looked great, but I noticed it wobbles a lot. Not sure how long it’ll hold up. The mirror itself is plastic so no worries there, and it does a good job of giving you a great viewing angle. You can move the mirror about 30 degrees left/right/up/down if needed and it’s large enough to see details easily.I’m sure over time the plastic ball joint will wear out and the mirror will just refuse to hold position, but hopefully that will happen after we decide it’s not necessary anymore.Edit: It’s been a year since it’s been installed and it still holds position pretty well.

My husband wants to steal my baby mirror and exchange the lame one out from his car. I should buy this again for my husband’s car.

Do not recommend for a BMW 420i, headrest is wayyy too small you’ll probably need something that will latch onto the bar of the headrest instead. However this is worth it for the price if you have larger headrests in family cars and sedans.

Works great! I’m able to see my son no problem to make sure he’s doing okay in his seat. He’s a mini heater, so he can easily get overheated in his car seat. Not only can I keep an eye on him while I’m driving, but I can see early signs of discomfort so I know when to crank up the AC for him!

We installed the Brica mirror first and it was kind of a pain to control the angle and attach it to the headrest. When we got this one, we could see the difference in quality right away. The mirror part is larger, and the bracket to angle it was a bonus, making it much easier to control the viewing angle. My husband likes this one so much he wants to purchase another one and put this one in his truck too.

Just received this and give it 5 stars right now, though we haven’t driven anywhere(may reevaluate later). Unlike some of the other ones we have had that have one strap this has 2 making it much less likely to slip. They are easy to tighten too. Sometimes adjustable straps are a big pain, supposed to be helpful, thankfully these are. I also really like that this mirror comes with a pivoting head. Others we have were flat and it was always difficult to position the mirror. The pivot is tight to move but I like that so the mirror isn’t just moving all around during a drive. The mirror is wide and clear I like that there isn’t the unnecessary framing. Very pleased. Might upgrade our other car which has the pivoting mirror but it’s so small.

Mirror came nicely packaged in the box with a protective covering on it. It comes in two pieces which you need to put together to have the assembled product. It took less than 5 minutes from unboxing to Installation. I struggled a bit to slide the swivel mount into the slot on the strap block as it was very tight, but I believe they made it that way for safety reasons to keep them together. Not a big deal but just sharing my experience. And my rear seat do not have adjustable headrest nor there is gap between the seat and headrest for the vertical strap to go, so I only used horizontal strap to fasten the mirror without any issues. It fits nicely and you can adjust the angle to your liking for a clear view of your baby. I also noticed that the mirror makes the objects appear little farther away but that’s not an issue for me. I would conclude it by saying it is a very good purchase and I recommend this for anyone who is looking for a decent baby car mirror.

The officer warned that these mirrors are not recommended due them being a potential projectile. When we had our second baby and bought a second car I consider a few other mirrors including diono to match our car seat brand, but ultimately came back to this one as it works great. We have two now and are going to buy two more for the second car.

For the most part, this product is exactly what they claimed it to be. The reflection is great, though a little warped around the edges (to be expected with this type of material). It has a great range of motion which is very helpful since my husband and I are very different heights. It was quick and easy to install, and both me and the baby use it frequently.My biggest issue with this mirror, which honestly is the same issue I have with several other brands, is that it’s not super stable. What I mean is, every car has a slight shake or tremor depending on the car and several factors. Because the mirror is an added addition to the car, it’s not as sturdy or stable as say your review mirror. This causes the mirror to shake with the car. I wouldn’t have noticed this if it wasn’t for the fact that I used it once to put on makeup in the back of the car. It made me incredibly carsick to stare at it trembling for several minutes. Then I felt bad that my baby has to stare at it all the time.But as I’ve continued to observe, my baby doesn’t stare into it for long minutes at a time. Usually only briefly to see me. Also it’s most helpful when she’s napping so that I can keep on eye on her and make sure she’s safe.All in all, I’m really grateful that I have it.

I am a FTM and got this for my first car – now I dont have my baby yet. But I have done my full carseat install and set up the mirror. It gives me a great view of the carseat from my driver seat (I put baby on the passenger side for optimal viewing). The image was crisp and not distorted even in my rear view, which I was happy about as I wasn’t sure what to expect. At 8mo pregnant and on bed rest I was easily able to put the mirror together and install in my car. A not on adjustment, the ball joint is stiff if you do not have the leverage of the mirror to manipulate it, and in my car the head rest was a bit short to tighten the straps down all the way, so I will have to try and address that maybe when I can more easily fit into my own car. However, I am very happy with this mirror and even got a second one for the other vehicle based off my car.

It does the job! We have a smaller car (Toyota Yaris iA) and it was a little difficult getting the straps around the headrest, because it was right up against the window. I don’t think that’s a problem with the mirror though, just our car.Ladies, if your husband ever insists that the small car will work as a family car, kindly tell him to rethink things. Because he is wrong. You don’t want to be sitting in the back middle seat during a road trip because the other seats and trunk are literally packed to the brim, and you have no room to put your feet!But yeah, the mirror is great 👍🏻

I purchased this so that I could see my baby in the backseat from my rear view mirror. He loves it, and so do I! It makes him happier to be able to see me and know I’m there, and he often feels secure enough to sleep in his car seat now. The mirror gives a very clear reflection, and it makes it easy for me to check on him safely while driving. I knew when looking for a mirror this go around that I wanted one that would tilt some so I can actually see my baby, this one delivers for sure! Hubby said it was easy to install, helps with headrest that can be adjusted. This one tilts and your able to see baby from rear view mirror as you drive but also if passenger in front seat looks back. Definitely an upgrade from the older ones that just hang from headrest but you had to find something to put between mirror and headrest to provide the tilt part so it could actually be somewhat useful. Definitely say give this one a try. I wasn’t sure if it’d work or not but decided to try and see and it definitely works for us!

Clear reflection.Note that for rear passenger seats like the ones in my Tesla Model 3, you can’t use the straps that goes vertical as intended but you could secure the strap on top to the seat by using the seat release as if you are folding down the seat, but instead slack the line a little and put the strap behind the seat and push the seat back in position. You can then tighten the slack as needed from the trunk.You could just use the horizontal strap but nothing will prevent it from flying upward and coming loose and hitting your baby. So safety first and use the method as mentioned above.

This is absolutely perfect for our car because it doesn’t have a middle seat head rest so we are able to set it up on a different head rest and point it towards him.I also want to say, that the pivot on it broke last week…. Could have been a number of reasons for it breaking…. But I messaged the sellers asking if they sell parts for it, and they ended up just sending me a whole new mirror, brand new! Both cars I have tried a regular mirrors and the slant of the headrest prevented use from seeing the baby without stuffing a jacket or beanie behind it. I love that this one not only has a swivel so I can tilt it to the right angle but it can also be moved to the side of the headreat so you can face it towards a baby in the middle seat. The clarity is amazing too! Our old one was foggy and scratched super easily. This one is almost a clearer picture than the factory rear view mirror! The install was super easy my 4 year old could do it! I wish I’d had this with him! We have 2 really long drives coming up this holiday season and I’m thankful we’ll have this mirror for them.

My boyfriend initially bought this car mirror so that he could easily see our baby while he was driving and so our baby could see him and other things while in the car (rather than just looking at the back of a seat). I had to switch cars with him a couple days and got to see the mirror in action, I LOVED IT so much, I bought one for my car. The mirror is large so it is very easy to turn at a red light and see exactly what my son is doing and for him to recognize that I am looking at him (he gives the biggest smile)! I can also look in my rear view mirror and see him very clearly. It was easy to put up and seems to be sturdy. It was slightly shaky but if you put a towel you can stabilize it and stop any shaking. Definitely a good product!

I think the range of motion, wide visibility and sturdiness are the selling points here. Safety recommendations for babies say not to have these because they are a distraction risk which is the main cause of accidents, so have some common sense and don’t stare at your baby going down the road! As a nurse I feel I need to be able to tell if my baby was choking by a quick glance back, and if they were, they wouldn’t make any noise! So I thought it was important, and will be safe about it. Looks like a great product, you can watch my video showing it installed in my car.

What you see is what you get! This mirror gets the job done and holds up just fine. We needed an extra car seat mirror for my wife’s Camry (which doesn’t have detachable headrests in the backseat). I was able to get this one to fit well by using some string in order affix the straps to a few anchor points. The mirror is clear, reflective, and easy to see from the front seat area.

I’ve had this mirror for about a year and it has given me peace of mind knowing I can safely glance at my baby in my rear view mirror without having to pull over or come to a stop light to check on him. Now that he’s a little older, I tilted the mirror down because he really enjoys looking at himself. To install, I didn’t even have to look at the installation instructions. What you see is what you get! This mirror gets the job done and holds up just fine. We needed an extra car seat mirror for my wife’s Camry (which doesn’t have detachable headrests in the backseat). We found it didn’t quite work for that, it does work really well for its intended purpose. The mirror was super easy to install and the instructions easy to understand. The mirror pivots so it can be angled to see anything in the back seat. The convex mirror makes it so I can see the whole back seat. Because the convexion makes everything a little smaller so that you can see more, it didn’t really work for our original purpose as it made the screen reflection super tiny. But we still use for monitoring our baby and it works great for that!

Also, I’m usually able to see baby in the mirror during the daytime, but when there is a lack of sufficient lighting it’s a lot harder to see baby. This means that using the mirror during night time is impossible unless you have cabin lights on, and if you have the car seat cover opened to allow light to shine in baby. I’ve never been able to use the rear view car mirror to see the baby mirror, and always have to turn around to see what the little one is up to. This means only being able to check on baby during stops at lights or stop signs. The mirror is also pretty noisy when going over semi-bumpy roads.
